PCR Food Testing
Our tests have been developed using state of the art evolution of PCR (polymerase chain reaction) testing by the leading bio-technology experts in Germany, R-Biopharm. Outsource Laboratory (OSL) has been working with their technical team since 2023 having visited the Head Office in Darmstadt, Germany to understand, in detail, the testing methodology. OSL has the day to day support of the German, UK and Scottish teams. The technology is so advanced that it is not subjective relying on interpretation and potential sub-culturing errors. This technology, using the correct laboratory aseptic techniques, is 100% accurate. The reliability is further enhanced by every test kit having a positive control and every run having a negative control. This means the output graphs, direct from the PCR testing RIDA CYCLER (thermocycler), show immediately if the sample is positive for the parameter tested, negative or if an error has been made. This gives absolute confidence in the results. Furthermore this data will be made readily available as evidence of the test being completed and the result - more detailed than a piece of paper or an email.
